This is Maral Babapour Chafi posing for RECYCLE ME in a liver t-shirt! Maral was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She moved to Sweden to study Industrial Design Engineering, and now she is a PhD student at Chalmers University of Technology. Her research interest lies in people’s interaction with product systems and their surrounding environment. One of her most favorite free-time activities is climbing.

Thank you, Maral for helping us spread the message; organ donation concerns us all!

The liver is an important part of our body, functioning both as a purifier and as a manufacturer. There is currently no way to compensate for the absence of liver function in the long term, although liver dialysis techniques can be used in the short term. Liver transplantation is the only option for complete liver failure. More interesting facts about the liver on Wikipedia; https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liver
